Berlioz

A superferry with style and culture

The luxury superferry Berlioz, now operating for MyFerryLink, was originally custom designed for the Dover-Calais route as the SeaFrance Berlioz, joining the fleet in April, 2005.

The ship, named after the French composer Hector Berlioz, was built at Les Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in St Nazaire.

The Berlioz was custom-built to operate services between Dover and Calais

She is similar in design to the award-winning Rodin with a capacity of 1,900 passengers and 700 cars, also offering a 75-minute Channel crossing time, sailing at a top speed of 25 knots.

Continuing with the award-winning formula of the Rodin, French interior designers AIA gave the Berlioz a continental flair to all her on-board passenger spaces, providing relaxed and informal surroundings with a choice of restaurants, all offering an international cuisine.

The Berlioz has tastefully designed interiors creating a relaxing ambiance.

From the car decks to La Brasserie, passing through Le Pub and La Boutique, the ship offers a unique level of comfort and tranquillity that only a ship designed and built for its passengers can provide.
