The Scottish Viking is a RO/PAX vessel and was purpose built in 2009 in the Visentini Ship Yard, Italy.

Built in accordance with the Italian flag legislation and transferred to the UK flag on delivery, sher operates on a dedicated route between Rosyth in Scotland and the Belgian port of Zeebrugge.
