Stena Navigator

Prize-winning makeover makes her better than ever

Stena Navigator, which operates between Belfast and Stranraer, was totally refurbished in October 2009 and offers a range of facilities to make your journey relaxing and comfortable.

In fact the £2 million makeover was so successful that ShipPax, the global industry voice for ferries and cruise ships, awarded the vessel the accolade of ‘best ferry conversion’ in its 2010 annual awards.

Stena Line purchased the ship from SeaFrance in summer 2009 and she was given the makeover in the autumn before entering service in November. The refurbishment was carried out by Northern Ireland company MJM and designed by Swedish company Figura.
