SeaFrance

A unique taste of France

Seafrance is the only French owned ferry operator on the cross channel route between Dover and Calais - the shortest stretch of water between the UK and France - providing you with the opportunity to savour the unique French ambiance as soon as you get onboard.

It offers up to 15 round trips daily on three luxurious, state-of-the-art passenger ships Rodin, Berlioz, pictured, and Molière which boast a sailing time of about 75 minutes.

All three ships are new, built in 2002 or even later with modern exterior lines and contemporary interior design.

They are heavy liners that are resistant to inclement weather sometimes experienced on the Channel routes, and can carry from 1,200 to 1,900 passengers, 110 to 120 trucks and 480 to 700 cars.  The SeaFrance Nord-Pas-de-Calais further extends the sailings available.

Each has a great selection of restaurants, bars and cafés onboard offering something for every type of passenger. There are a children’s play area as well as arcades for the older ones. Furthermore, SeaFrance’s onboard shop, La Boutique, offers wine, beer, spirits, perfume and other consumer goods.

They offer a unique on-board concept with traditional French brasseries, restaurants and bars, authentic French food and motorists lounge.

Le Parisien Cafe

With the mood and atmosphere of a traditional French pavement cafe. Serving light snacks such as croque monsieur, with typical French pression beers, Pastis, citron presse and freshly ground coffee.

La Brasserie

A self-service or waiter-service brasserie serving a range of familiar French dishes including cassoulet, steak au poivre and coq au vin. Monthly menus are devised by Michelin-starred French chef Jean-Christophe Novelli. There is also a selection of sandwiches and baguettes. La Brasserie also has state-of-the art computers for motorists giving up-to-the-minute traffic reports, route planners and tourist information.

Le Relais Gourmet

A self-service restaurant serving a wide choice of French and English main dishes, full English breakfast and special menus for children and vegetarians.

Le Pub

A traditional French pub atmosphere with a selection of French, Belgian, Dutch, Irish and British draught and bottled beers. Serves bar snacks such as Croque Monsieur, baguettes and full English breakfast.

Gourmet de France

Perfect for stocking up for a picnic en route. A wide variety of pates, cheeses, breads, and other continental snacks.

Fresh croissants are baked on board throughout the day and traditional French baguettes are brought on board every sailing.
