DFDS Seaways offers safe travel alternative as volcanoic as cloud looms
DFDS Seaways (formerly Norfolkline) Dover – France is urging travellers to think about its ferries as as alternative travel option over the next few days as the Icelandic volcanic eruption once agaion poses a threat of air disruption.
Anyone worried about air cancellations and delays can be reassured that an ash cloud will not affect ferry services.
The DFDS Seaways Dover-Dunkirk ferry route is operating to schedule and currently has availability over the next few days, and into the Bank Holiday weekend for passengers travelling with cars.
Fares for journeys between Dover and Dunkirk start from just £25 each way for a car and up to four passengers. In addition, for return tickets booked before May 28, DFDS Seaways is currently offering £10 off return tickets for a car and up to four people on its Dover – France route. This is valid for travel until December 15 (terms and conditions apply).
Please note that DFDS Seaways does not carry foot passengers on its Dover-France route.
