DFDS Seaways unaffected by UK Border Control strike - but check in early
Passengers travelling with DFDS Seaways on its Dover to Dunkerque service over the next two days will be unaffected by the strike action UK Border Controls.
The strike has been called by the Public and Commercial Services Union and lasts from 1800 tonights (June 29) until midnight tomorrow (June 30).
Chris Newey, Director of Passenger Services for the DFDS Seaways English Channel route, says:
“Sailings on the DFDS Seaways Dover to Dunkerque route will be unaffected by this strike, however, we do advise travellers to allow extra time for checking-in and arriving at Dover and Dunkirk Ports, as well as for onward travel.”
