Hovertravel running later than ever for Victorious Festival

Hovertravel will be running services later than ever for the Victorious Festival in August.

Extra late services will mean island residents can enjoy the full Victorious Festival experience and still be across the Solent in ten minutes.

Loretta Lale of Hovertravel said “This is the latest we have ever operated and being able to give island residents the opportunity to stay through to the end of the Victorious Festival demonstrates how flexible we can be in supporting local events.”

The Victorious Festival in Portsmouth runs from August 25 to 27 with a line-up that includes Madness, Stereophonics, Elbow, Jake Bugg, Franz Ferdinand and Slaves.

“As this festival is on Southsea Common, Hovertravel is by far the closest ferry operator. We expect a nice mix of people who enjoy the fantastic line-up at Victorious.

“When we launched the services up to 1130 we had exceptional demand and some of these services are now almost full.

“By working closely with the local councils and our staff we can now extend our late services into the early morning of the next day and help the island community enjoy a great night out.”
