Jazz up autumn with P&O Ferries
Hop across the Channel to jazz up autumn with a visit to the Tourcoing Jazz Festival, which runs until October 29.
Trumpet legend Ibrahim Maalouf had the honour of opening the 25th anniversary event and more than 30 bands later the sax’ colossus Sonny Rollins will bring the festival to a close.
Performances take place at a variety of venues, from grand theatres to smaller clubs. In festival spirit, many admissions prices are just a couple of euros, or even free of charge.
Tourcoing is a 90-minute drive from Calais, which is served by P&O Ferries from Dover with a choice of 23 return crossings daily, and fares from £39 return for a car and passengers.
