The write stuff: Condor Ferries Channel Companion digs for news in Jersey
Holly Eddings, winner of the Condor Ferries Channel Companion competition, is in Jersey this weekend visiting some of the sights and attractions so she can write about them on her Channel Companion blog.

Holly, 21, who recently graduated from Southampton Solent University with a degree in magazine journalism and feature writing, was chosen by leading travel writer Simon Calder to spend the summer travelling between the Channel Islands and St Malo, describing her experiences in the blog.
Calder said: “Holly was a clear winner and holds potential for a promising career in travel writing, it was enjoyable to read her entry which stood out and grabbed your attention. Her experience as the Channel Companion should give her a good foundation to forge a career in travel writing and I look forward to seeing the fruits of her travel experiences with Condor Ferries.”
On her first visit to Jersey, Holly is a guest of The Best Western Royal Hotel and is visiting the War Tunnels, Durrell and the Maritime Museum. She is also explore Jersey’s wilder side when she goes coasteering with Jersey Adventures.

Holly will continue to visit the island throughout the summer, exploring everything that Jersey has to offer.
