Calling all travel bloggers! A six-day Oktoberfest trip is up for grabs for the winner of this year's TNT Travel Show travel blogging competition.
To enter, writers are asked to pen 200 words of outstanding prose about a festival experience for a chance to bag the prize which includes travel and accommodation.
Bloggers must begin their entry with the words: “I never knew a festival ...” and divulge a not-to-be-forgotten festival experience.

Oktoberfest is the best beer festival in the world
This year’s lucky winner will win a six-day trip to Munich’s Oktoberfest, courtesy of Pillow Adventure Travel Company (pillow.co.uk) to the opening weekend of the festival on September 21, 2013.
The name of the blogger who scoops the prize will be announced at next month’s TNT Travel Show, being held over March 9-10.
Oliver Jones, web editor at TNT Multimedia, said: “TNT is all about great travel ideas and our blogging competition is an awesome place for budding travel writers to share their work and find new inspiration.
“This year’s theme is festivals, so all entries need to be about a festival the writer has attended in the past 12 months.
“The most important thing, as with any travel writing, is finding an original angle - and that’s what we’re looking for.
“This year’s winner will win an awesome trip to the opening weekend of the best beer festival in the world: Oktoberfest.” The two-week festival starts on September 21.
The TNT Travel Show is London’s biggest free travel show, taking place at the Islington Business Design Centre, N1 0QH. There are 3,500 free tickets available each day when visitors pre-register at tnttravelshow.com and tickets cost just £2 after that.
Other competitions at the two-day extravaganza include the chance to win a £100 pre-paid MasterCard with www.mytravelcash.com.
As well as discounts of up to 50 per cent on trips and holidays in the UK, Europe and worldwide, visitors can also book group trips, overland routes and off-the-beaten track destinations in Eastern Europe, Africa, America, South America, Asia and Australasia.
There are also 20 free seminars across the weekend, including learning how to survive in the wild and the lowdown on 2013’s festival scene.
