The ferries, which will each have a capacity to carry up to 1,500 passengers and 600 vehicles, will operate daily between Bergen, Stavanger and Hirtshals, and on the service between Kristiansand and Hirtshals.
Fjord Line will take ownership of the new ferries in spring and autumn of 2012 respectively.
The hull of the two cruise ferries will be constructed at Bergen Group’s Polish partner, Stocznia Gdansk, while the final completion, assembly and interior work on the vessels will be carried out at Bergen Group Fosen.
