P&O Ferries £39 return fare is big hit with music festival fans

P&O Ferries is offering bargain three-day fares from just £39 return for a car and passengers to coincide with one of France’s biggest and best music festivals.

Some of the world’s top bands will descend on Arras from 1 to 3 July 1 to 3 for a three-day festival in the town’s historic main square, which is a UNESCO heritage site.

The line-up includes Coldplay, the Chemical Brothers, Kaiser Chiefs, PJ Harvey and Linkin Park along with a host of breakthrough French acts.

Festival-goers can load up their cars with camping equipment and up to nine of their friends and hop on a ferry from Dover to Calais for the event.

The special fares are valid for bookings made before June 1 for travel until July 17.

Arras is just an hour’s drive along the coast from Calais and P&O Ferries offers a choice of 23 sailings a day on its 90-minute service.
